PIONEER 115D 20x DVD±R/RW Drive
The Pioneer 115D high speed DVD±R/RW/CD-R/RW drive enables users to record onto DVD-R, DVD-RW, +R and +RW discs with ease. It also works with dual layer discs, increasing the capacity of a disc from 4.7 to 8.5 gigabytes for even more storage space. The Pioneer 115D will write up to 20x on DVD-R/+R (single layer) and up to 10x on DVD-R/+R (DL). It also offers many technologies unique to Pioneer, including:

SONY 20x DVD±R/RW/CD-R/RW Drive
The Sony 20x DVD±R/RW CD-R/RW drive can record DVD+R discs at up to 20X, burning a full disc in about 6 minutes. Other improvements include faster burning of rewritable DVD+RW discs can now be burned at up to 8x max and 6x max for DVD-RW. The drive also burns DVD+R DL Double layer discs at up to 8X.
Double Layer discs are capable of storing up to 4 hours of MPEG-2 video or up to 8.5GB of data on a single sided disc with 2 recordable layers. Once recorded, DVD+R DL discs are compatible with many home DVD players and DVD-ROM drives. Of course, the Sony 20x drive can also record standard 4.7GB DVD+R and DVD+RW discs and CDs too!
