Vinpower Digital has developed the first true standalone duplicator which can offer embedded copy protection. The unique Copy Protection Software (CPS) can embed a proprietary copy protection encryption into any DVD video master through a PC which can then be transferred onto the Vinpower Digital duplicator to produce as many copy protected reproductions as the user needs. Since CPS is software based as apposed to hardware based, there are no issues with compatibility with players like similar models on the market. In addition, CPS protects against both duplication and ripping for a double dose of protection whereas similar applications from competitors cannot block ripping.

RECORDER SELECTION:

PIONEER 116D 20x DVD±R/RW Drive The Pioneer 116D high speed DVD±R/RW/CD-R/RW drive enables users to record onto DVD-R, DVD-RW, +R and +RW discs with ease. It also works with dual layer discs, increasing the capacity of a disc from 4.7 to 8.5 gigabytes for even more storage space. The Pioneer 116D will write up to 20x on DVD-R/+R (single layer) and up to 10x on DVD-R/+R (DL). It also offers many technologies unique to Pioneer, including: Quiet Drive Improved Quiet Drive Technology reduces the noise level of audio and video playback while also delivering increased writing reliability. Liquid Crystal Control Liquid Crystal Tilt/Blur Compensator plays and records to discs more reliably - the Pioneer technology that compensates for warped discs. Double Capacity Dual/Double Layer recording provides nearly twice the capacity of a single layer recordable DVD-R (8.5 Gbytes vs. 4.7 Gbytes).

SONY 20x DVD±R/RW/CD-R/RW Drive The Sony 20x DVD±R/RW CD-R/RW drive can record DVD+R discs at up to 20X, burning a full disc in about 6 minutes. Other improvements include faster burning of rewritable DVD+RW discs can now be burned at up to 8x max and 6x max for DVD-RW. The drive also burns DVD+R DL Double layer discs at up to 8X. Double Layer discs are capable of storing up to 4 hours of MPEG-2 video or up to 8.5GB of data on a single sided disc with 2 recordable layers. Once recorded, DVD+R DL discs are compatible with many home DVD players and DVD-ROM drives. Of course, the Sony 20x drive can also record standard 4.7GB DVD+R and DVD+RW discs and CDs too!
