Please DO NOT perform any firmware updates unless it is necessary and instructed to do so.
Updating from the 1 Series Firmware to the 2 Series Firmware, all contents in the Hard Drive will be erased.
The 2 Series Firmware can ONLY be updated from Firmware 1.15/2.15 or higher.
The Following Vinpower Duplication Controllers will no longer be supported by Firmware Revision 1.15/2.15 or higher.
- Vinpower 7 Target Duplication Controller, rev 3.3 or below.
- Vinpower 11 Target Duplication Controller, rev 1.8 or below.
If you have accidentally updated the above mentioned controllers or systems with these controllers installed to firmware v1.15 or higher by mistake, you may see "Error Code: 4" during boot up or your system may cause it to function abnormally. Please downgrade back to 1.15 if the happens.
These firmware updates are not compatible with Traditional Chinese or Simplified Chinese controller/systems. If you require a firmware update for these versions, please contact the Vinpower Digital
